The respiratory system, is the system that helps you get oxygen. You breath by your diaphragm, your lungs, your windpipe, and other muscles in your chest. Every minute you breathe in, about 20 times!
The air has a long way to your lungs. it flows down to your windpipe, goes past your voice box/vocal cords, to your lowermost ribs meet the center of your chest. then your windpipe splits into two tubes that leads to the two lungs witch fill most of your ribcage. Inside each of your lungs, tubes, called bronchi, branch into even smaller tubes much like branches of a tree. At the end of the tubes are millions of tiny bubbles or sacs called aleoli.
